BF mommies... when did your leaking stop?
Did you ever stop leaking/needing breast pads while breastfeeding?
Not that I mind, I take what comes with it but wondering if I'll ever go without a breast pad again!
I'm not a loose fitting top kind of gal and no matter what the box claims, I've not found a breast pad that does not show through a snug tee shirt.
Any brand recommendations would be lovely! And by when did you stop needing pads?

Re: BF mommies... when did your leaking stop?
I think I was able to stop wearing breastpads during the day somewhere in the 3rd month, maybe sooner. But I wore them until about 6 months at night.
I hated the Medela washable pads. I really liked the Lansinoh washable. I never did well with the disposable, but I know others that loved the disposable. In fact, I gave my disposable pad box to a friend that liked them.

Re: BF mommies... when did your leaking stop?
I'm currently using lansinoh disposables. But I do not like the sticky tabs and do not use them because Uh... my nips do not stay in the same spot all day!!!
I did get a pack of the organic cotton washable pads. Love them, crazy soft and comfy and show the least through clothing. However... I'm finding them to shift and I'd get a wet spot when it was no where near my nipple! So I'll use them in the day but cannot for the night because they do not stay put with my tossing and turning.

Same here with my older one. I just stopped wearing them during the day this time around a couple of weeks ago. I usually use Medela disposable but I picked up Lansihoh disposable by mistake and love them. I did not like Avent dispoable.

Re: BF mommies... when did your leaking stop?
at 10 months i still need them...
as for pads i use the evenflo pads with lanolin built in... they do not have the plastic feel to them, which i found irritated me... plus i dont need to use any creams then because the lanolin is built is so as you leak it infuses the boobies
as for showing they always do unless i use certain nursing bras.. my fav are the sport ones from motherhood maternity

During the day.. around 7 weeks. Once your supply levels off. I still wake up soaked at night, some nights.

I only had the washable ones at first and loved them. Then I got some disposable ones and they made me all itchy and irratated. So, I'm saving the environment with the washables. I did find that after about 2 months I needed to replace them. The waterproof side got all worn away. But, now that I don't need them as often I expect that they will last longer.
