BF Moms, does anyone of this book? And would you recommend it?

Medications and Mothers' Milk (Medications and Mother's Milk) (Paperback)
by Thomas W., Ph.D. Hale (Author)

To make a long story short, I have been having difficulty sleeping, so I called my Dr and she presribed a sleeping pill that is out of the BM in 5 hours.

I finally slept last night because of it, and had DH give him a bottle of BM when he woke up. He slept from 10:30 pm - 3:30 am and then I pumped and dumped this morning before I nursed him to be on the safe side.

I want a book on how medications affect BM and just so I have a reference for myself.

I don't know the book, but I can tell you that Kellymom.com is really helpful about medications.

I just asked DH (who's a pediatrician) and he said that's THE standard book that pediatricians are supposed to use for checking if medication is safe to use while BFing. He and DS's pediatrician both use it when I started BFing to see if my meds were safe in DS's milk.
