BFing mamas---I have a possible problem, long, any advice would be helpful

DS is 9 weeks, since the beginning I have had issues with forceful letdown/oversupply. I read kellymom, my BF book and followed the advice--nurse one side only, lean back, etc. DS is a very fussy baby, but different fussy then my older one who was colicky.
DH has been giving bottles here and there on the weekend of pumped milk---after this past weekend I mentioned that he seemed much less fussy after the bottle. So today I tried giving him a bottle of pumped milk as well---I don't know if it was a coincidence, but DS didn't cry/fuss AT ALL and went down beautifully for a nap.
I am not sure what to do. Obviously I will try this theory again, but if it remains the case, then what? I am very pro BFing and nursed my older son for 14 months. Pumping is an option, but I also have a 2 year old and I am not sure its feasible. Has anyone pumped with a toddler too? Or do I just wait it out and hope DS adjusts to the fast flow? We go to the ped tomorrow so I will talk to her too, just wanted to see if anyone else had advice. TIA!

Honestly, I would wait it out Chat Icon Chat Icon He will adjust to you. You might be better off though eliminating the pumping altogether though so he can adjust to you instead of him getting the comfortable flow from the bottle then going to the more forceful flow and back and forth...

I agree. I would keep trying and I bet as he gets older (closer to 3 months) he will have better control. Chat Icon

Wait it out. The older he gets the more able he is with a more forceful let down. I would pump before feeding him any chance you get then put him to breast afterwards.
