BFP with first IVF cycle?- Update trial transfer complete

Has anyone gotten pregnant with their first ivf cycle?
i was just wondering......having a hard time digesting all of this. i know everyone is different and soo many different protocols. i am going for my trial transfer tomorrow. i should be starting lupron next week. thanks in advance. i honestly dont know waht i would do without reading this board.

Thank you everyone for your kind word ....keeps me staying sane and positive. had my trial transfer last night and went well. next appt is monday morning for blood and they will let me know when to start lupron.

I was not successful on my first or second IVF cycles. Hoping that lucky #3 gives me my BFP!!

This whole IF rollercoaster is so overwhelming st times. I wish you luck on your upcoming cycle.

i was successful on my first IVF!! with the exception of my (expected) high e2's leading to OHSS symptoms, it was a pretty textbook perfect IVF cycle.
i had two chemicals with medicated timed intercourse cycles prior to my IVF BFP.
it's still early and i havent had my first sono yet, although my betas were strong. that i finally get to go home with a baby when this is all said and done!!

i did BCP followed by ganirelix, follistim and luveris, and a lupron trigger among other things.

I did, I am just 5.5 wks. And I just met this girl who was successful on her first and second ivf cycle, and just when she thought she was done had a third naturally by surprise. Miracles do happen!

I did conceive with my first IVF cycle , but it ended as a chemical (the embryos were of such poor quality so the fact that I got pregnant at all was a miracle)

My 2nd cycle was a fresh also ( we changed up the meds and got great embryos) and I got pg with my DD...

I am now pg with a frozen embie from that same cycle

IVF is such a trial and error process

I got pregnant on my first IVF, but it did end in a miscarriage. I know that's not what you want to hear, but my 2nd resulted in my DD and my 3rd my DS.

I was lucky enough to get my BFP on the first IVF after failed clomid and injectible cycles. I have PCO and DH has moderate IF issues. Good luck to you!

Thanks ladies. Our issue is MI. ive never been on meds before. I am starting lupron next week. Not sure of what else yet (assuming follotism, progesterone). I think im making myself more nevous bc i keep thinking if it doesnt work will they find soemthing wrong with my embroyos, or what not. Im extremely nervous abotu the injections as well. Tonight i go for my trial transfer.

I did and have a 6 month old from it, as well as 4 frosties!

not on first try. second worked but miscarried at 8 weeks. third cycle was a frozen embryo transfer and we are pregnant!

I did and these two 7 month old as a result!

I did too.

The odds depend on lots of things, but in my group, for someone my age... it was over 50%.
