Bidding on a house your REA is representing

Long story short lol We want to place a bid on a house that our REA is representing. How does that work - I mean, pricewise, she wants the seller to get the most money but she prolly knows the seller's limit But I know she doesn't want us to get ripped off either!

We've never put in an offer anywhere, but would this be any differnt?
Thanks.

good luck!
this is not any different, only better for you. yes, she will want to get the most money for the house, but there is more room for negotiation. if she really wants to get the house sold, she can work with the sellers on the commission.

Go for it!!

keep us posted.

Re: Bidding on a house your REA is representing

We went thru the same thing. Long story short....we found our current house via MLSLI, got in contact with the REA, fell in love with the house, but our former house was not even on the market yet. He made us a deal that he would cut his commission if we went with him bc he knew how much we wanted our house, but that we still had to sell. HOnestly, I am nit sure if it was a good idea or not. We did sell our house in one day and bought the hosue we wanted, but not sure if it had ANYTHING at all to do with the REA. We had a nice house priced RIGHT! I think that was more of the key at the time.
