Re: Big Breasted Ladies
For bras, i usually go to a Georgette's corsietter shop -- but they fit me into bras by Bali's(style 180 or 3562) and I can't think of the other brand. Also Goddess brand makes some good larger sized ones. They are not the prettiest bras but they do the job!! I could never wear Victoria's Secret or Lane Bryant bras cause they are not nearly enough support......and I am also beyond DD's.
For bathing suits I love Roxanne brand swimsuits. They are cup sized...but they have ones that are like full support bras. Not the sexiest bathing suits but I need something I can actually walk in without falling out of!! Also, for my HM I went to Great Shapes in Merrick and bought a Roxanne suit which was actually really nice and another one by Miraclesuit.....if you get the womens size in 14 or 16 it is great support in the chest area....it is good for activities, like I wore it when we went on the jet-ski's, snorkeling etc....
Good look, i know how hard it is!!

Try Georgette's they are on Hicksville Road in Bethpage, and they have all sizes there.

Re: Big Breasted Ladies
My favorite brand for the big girls is Lillyette's - you can find it in any dept store, but Kohls always has the best sales. They have a huge dept of minimizers in all the brands.

I always go there. I prefer when Georgette is there herself.

Re: Big Breasted Ladies
I got measured at Georgette's and found out, much to my shock, that I was a 32DD. I purchased a couple of bras there and then when I got PG, my cup size went off the charts and I ordered from Figleaves.com - they have every size imaginable.

Re: Big Breasted Ladies
funny story...
when i was preggo with Sofia, in my 8th month...my boobs had somewhat outgrown my regular bras. so much so, that one day, while at the mall, the underwire broke and was digging into my rib!!!
so we go into motherhood maternity, to buy some new bras. the store clerk was very accomodating, and even measured me to make sure I was buying the right size.
Upon measuring me, she tells me: "you're not a 36C anymore, you're measuring a 36D!" oh lawdy, i wanted to cry!
just then, Danielle, VERY LOUDLY says:
"mommy, maybe that's why your bra broke!"
needless to say, dh, the store clerk, and danielle were all cracking up!! i was like..she did NOT just say that!!

Re: Big Breasted Ladies
I usually get mine in Macy's but I have to go to the h "Full-figure" section. There are only a few styles I can wear & they aren't too cute, but they do have them in sizes larger than a DD.
You should look in the phonebook for a lingerie & swimwear shop in your area. The one I went to in Manhattan was helpful & I was able to get a bathing suit there, too.
I believe Lane Bryant has changed their bras. The store Cacique is now within Lane Bryant & they carry different brands, not just their own brands.

Re: Big Breasted Ladies
Funny story that happened to my aunt.... She was in the dressing room at Macy's when my cousins were little. One was 3(her son), and the other was 4(my other aunt's daughter). Well, my aunt was changing with them in the room, and my cousin Nicole said to my other cousin, "Kyle, MY mommy has big boobs, does YOUR mommy have big boobs?" So Kyle responded, "No, Nicole, my mommy's boobs are LONG! Loooong ALLLLLL the way down to the floor!" She said all the other women in the dressing room were laughing hysterically.

Re: Big Breasted Ladies
ok, don't laugh at me, but I get all of my bras at Target! They are the only bras I've ever had that hold me up, and they are all of 10 bucks! I've tried everything out there and these cover me and hold me up so well! I was a 36D before getting preggo and now I'm a 38DD, and they are really holding up well!

I won't laugh, but I may steal your idea! Do you know what brand they are?
I buy Bali minimizers at Macy's but only when they are on-slae, and I am alwys lookignfor some thing new.
