big brother gift suggestions??
I want to get my 10 year old ds a special gift when his new baby sister is born..kinda from her to him, or maybe just from us to show how proud of him we are to have him as our son..
hes older so he shows no signs of jealousy and has been very halpful and very excited to have a sibling on the way..anyone have any suggestions?
he definately takes after me and is "the mushy and sentimental" type..so im sure he would appreciate more than most 10 year old boys would..so i dont wanna get him like a video game or something lol..i want him to remember it always as the gift he got when his new lil sister was born...
any help would be appreciated!!

Maybe you could get one for the sport he plays and take it to a place like Things Remembered to engrave it.

he wears a titanium cross and thats it, he wont wear any other jewelry, plus he plays baseball 11 months out of the year, so were always having to take everything off..
i think the pocket watch idea is a great one, but im confused...they have them for specific sports Summer?
eta: i LOVE those dogtags, i wish he would get use out of em..i bought my dh ones that say.."born to be my baby" when i got pregnant i gave them to him, and now ill have her name and bday engraved in them when she gets here :)

I'm pretty sure they do. My dad likes trains and I bought him one with a train on it years ago.

I can't find a decent baseball pocketwatch...but Things Remembered has some nice regular ones on their site
This one is nice and holds a picture...would be cute to put a picture of the baby in there and have it engraved to him

omg can you imagine? Do rich kids play nicer then my son? Cause my Nicholas would break that thing in a minute!! lol 215 THEY MUST BE NUTS!!
the things remembered one is nice though, and much more reasonable..i tried googling "big brother" gifts but it brings me to very young presents..personalized tshirts and such..
im gonna sleep on it, and then order tomorrow..
