Anyone know how the seating will be? I keep getting tickets BEHIND the stage but I dont know if it will be an open stage. I dont want to stare at equipment and curtains all night lol

Ticketmaster kept giving my mom behind the stage no matter how many times she refreshed
I to her to go to stubhub and she got two tickets in the 200s section

I have been to over 10 Billy Joel shows and the best seats are behind the stage. He always does an open stage from all the concerts I've been to and has a key board or paino set up on the back of the stage. So he plays both front and back of the stage...
So the behind the stage are great unless he changes his stage setup which I doubt he will now.

Agreed. I love sitting behind the stage. My sister's friend let us charge the credit cards to her citi card, so we just got tix for the April show, in section 113. I am so psyched to be behind the stage. I'd rather be there than facing the stage all the way on the other side of the arena.

I just got tix for dh for xmas in March woohoo!! So excited also behind stage section 111!!!!!!! I'm super excited. The last show I saw was supposed to be his last show lol hahaha

Thank you for suggesting the app. I got tickets for the 5/9 & 7/2 shows with the app.
I had to keep going back and refreshing but then I guess people released tickets. Ticketmaster.com was still searching for tickets.
The app was soo easy!
Sooo excited to see Billy Joel on my and his birthday!!!
