Birth Control question... (IUD)
I cannot be on any form of birth control that has hormones in it so my dr suggested the copper IUD......Did/does anyone use this kind?? If so what are your thoughts or do you have any side effects??

I just posted the same question below!  I just got back from my 6 week pp check up and was told IUD would be best for me as well. Hopefully we will get some responses from those on it!

My friend has paraguard which I believe is the non hormone IUD, she loves it. I think she has had it for over a year now!

I just got Paragard so far so good. I didnt want any hormones either. Its good for 10 years and the insertion was non painful and it took 5 minutes. I like the fact taht i dont have to take any medication everyday and dont have to worry about the hormones. Hormones effect my mood drastically.
