Birthday Party on Halloween
I am having my son's first bday on Halloween. The kids are going to come dressed in costume...the kids range from 1-4.
I was thinking about getting a bouncy, because what else can I do with a bunch of kids in costumes ---I don't want to do a craft because they will have their costumes on....do you think a bouncy is a good idea, or would it be too much with the kids all dressed up....if not, any other ideas? Thanks!!!

Re: Birthday Party on Halloween
I think a not-too-messy craft would be better than a bouncy since the kids will be in costumes.

I just got a catalog from Oriental Trading that had a ton of Halloween crafts.

I agree. At that age, you could throw a bunch of beach balls in the backyard & they'd have a blast for a few hours.

You could also have different play stations where they go to for candy & they can ooh & aah at each other.

Re: Birthday Party on Halloween
What about decorating small pumpkins? You could get those foam eyes and such rather than markers or paint.

I agree with the beach balls. Get a parachute too and let them play popcorn with the balls.

Re: Birthday Party on Halloween
I had a Halloween birthday party for DS2 and we did a simple craft, I got little pumpkins and stick on foam pieces and glitter glue pens, and let them go to town on it. It really wasn't very messy at all and the kids loved it.
