Birthday Party times

I am having DD bday party at home on a Saturday and was wondering what time to have it?? I want to do late afternoon/early evening but is that annoying?? I want to do stuff outside with kiddies and its late April party.

I also thought abt starting the kiddie party an hour earlier then the family/adult part just so the kids have more running space and the adult/family people are annoyed by children....

Am i just over thinking all this??

Also i am having Hello Kitty for an hour too...

Help pic a time to start my party - PLEASE

Birthday Party times

What about 4-6? My friend had her son's 2nd birthday on a Saturday from 4:30-6 and no one complained, the kids all had a great time.

I think that's a good time. That way parents still have the rest of the day to run errands and such and then can come by and relax while the kids are running around.

I think this is perfect. Lots of kids have sports on weekends and can't make it earlier in the day. Its light later in April which is nice. Another plus-it's late enough that you would be feeding them dinner.

Re: Birthday Party times

I have been at kids parties that started at 10am and ones that went from 6-8pm.

I htink anytime you pick will be fine. Parents expect the parties to disrupt their weeekend anyway!

We're doing DS's party 4:30 - 6:00 on a Saturday. He has sports earlier in the day (along with other kids who are being invited), and it's nice to have the kids fed dinner before they go home.
