Birthday surprise for DH is in the works (UPDATED - success!!!!)
I wanted DH's good friends to come to Charlotte to surprise him for his 30th birthday
so far his 3 CLOSE friends (the best man and 2 groomsmen in our wedding) are coming to Charlotte (1 lives in florida and the other 2 on Long Island ) on Memorial Day weekend to surprise Kevin (his 30th birthday is may 19th)
I bought them all tickets to see a nascar race (a right of passage down south)  and will pay for a round of golf for them
I will also throw them a few hundred bucks for a night of drinking and cab fare
he is going to be SO excited to see them all, I cannot wait to see his face
 
update - So the guys game on Friday and DH was SO surprised...he keeps thanking me for arranging this and says it was a great surprise. Friday night, they went out for a few drinks and DH crashed at the hotel with his friends. Saturday, they went to a NASCAR race which I bought them all tickets for and once again crashed at the hotel with them
they are currently playing golf and we will have a BBQ later tonight
They are leaving tomorrow but I am SO glad that DH liked his surprise

Is it terrible that I have no idea. I know we were in NY about a year or so ago. I know he saw Jason and Brett then...he has not seen craig since the wedding, almost 3 years ago
