Black & White Cookie
OMG...
The CHOCOLATE 
Which side do you like better??
The nice part is.. I just got one of these at lunch & just promised it to my husband. The sad part is that its almost gone.

I used to have a strange way of eating them. I would eat some of the vanilla, then some chocolate. Then you are left with a strip of both choco and van, not too big. Then I eat the two flavors together.
I think it's because I just couldn't decide which side I liked more.
(I prefer chocolate side now)

Vanilla - all the way!!! It works out well because DH likes the chocolate side better, so we can split a cookie between us

It's hard to even find a bakery around here. It's mostly bakeries IN grocery stores. And their B&W's are not as good as NY ones. I've tried.
The bakery I worked at when i was younger made the BEST B&W's!!

You're not missing much. I don't like them. I grew up eating half moons - the difference - black and whites are made with icing and half moons are made with frosting. I love half moons, but I can't find them down here.

My brother and I used to split them down the middle so I'd get a whole chocolate and he'd get a whole vanilla but I just discovered my bagel store makes them in whole chocolate and whole vanilla cookies! It's brilliant

Chocloate definately. DH is gracious enough to usually share the cookie with me and I'll eat the chocolate and he'll eat the white part (even though I know he preferes the chocolate)
