black beans : how did you prepare them?
I bought canned black beans and want to start feeding them to DD. I know I don;t want to puree them but do I cook them first and how?

I am not sure how old your DD is but I have just taken them out of the can, rinsed them off and served them to DD. She loves them. Sometimes I will heat them for a few seconds in the microwave and mix it into a meal she is eating. DD hates meat so it is a good source of protein - I practically serve them with everey meal.

Agreed. Canned beans are already cooked.
