Black tights or nude with this dress
I have a wedding on Saturday and plan to wear this dress. I have black tights (not sheer black) and nude. Which do you think would look better? I plan on wearing black shoes. The dress is a tad short so I was thinking the black may give more coverage!

Nude tights??? Definitely not. I wouldn't wear either, sorry. Love the dress though!

Definitely not black tights, way too sever for this dress. Considering the weather, I guess you could get away with a sheer stocking, something really good quality that will not even be noticeable.
However, I would beeline to the bathroom upon arrival and take them off before joining the party.

I may have used the wrong word when I say nude tights I meant sheer like the ones that look like you aren't wearing anything! I need something on my legs as they are scary white! Are sheer tights really that bad that everyone says don't wear them or take them off??

I have high quality sheer pantyhose that are ULTRA sheer and look fine.
Trust me, guys still check out my legs!!
But seriously, nobody is going to look at you say - OMG panythose! Especially not if you get a sheer pair.
I doubt ANYONE is going to notice or care.

Sheer pantyhose are fine. As long as you dont wear them with open toe shoes. I dont know anyone in real life that thinks sheer pantyhose are some kind of crime. Only on here.

Due to weather and since its a short dress, I would do high quality black sheer stockings. I think it would look great. I'm personally not a fan of nude. I think black sheer is very sexy.

Oh, okay, I thought you meant nude tights!!! I am not a fan of sheer stockings at all, but if you have to wear something, I would go with black sheers, not black tights.

Would do a nude sheer for sure. Definitely not black.
I find it funny how stockings/tights are so frowned upon. Sometimes Legs look much better with a stocking than bare. I know I've seen some doozies; mine included.

If you prefer your legs covered, I think sheer nude stockings are right for this dress. Black tights are not for a formal affair IMO (especially with that dress)
The dress is very pretty - great color!

Pretty dress. I'm wearing a similar dress in black with that lace look and wearing high quality sheer nude or black stockings. Definitely wearing something out in that cold no bare legs for me.

I always wear stockings in the winter. The summer maybe not. But, I really don't understand why they are so bad. I mean I won't wear that suntan color.

I have pale legs AND its cold in the winter, so I always wear stockings (or tights) if I'm wearing a dress in the colder months. I'd wear a nude/tan stocking, and either black/nude shoes.

With this dress, YES!
Can't wear black tights with it, way too severe, and the sheer hosiery always make me think of Sophia Petrillo... that's just me though! :)
