Blackberry Storm
Anyone have it? Pros/Cons? I want to buy it this week but I am a bit hesitant as I read reviews online. As with anything new there are some kinks that need to be worked out. I would love to hear what you think. TIA

Re: Blackberry Storm
Ok well DH and I got it the day it came out. BIG mistake. We had so many issues, we had to have them send us both new ones. Now ths second time around his was perfect, mine was still slow and causing me problems. I downloaded the new software that they provide online for the phone and its a million times better. NOW i'd recommend it lol I think we just got a "bad batch" of phones.

Re: Blackberry Storm
Thanks Dana! So is it easy to use and navigate? What do you think of the touch screen only?

its easy to navigate, all the Apps are "buttons" on the screen itself. So to reach the internet or your contact list, msgs etc. you just touch that button on the screen. One of the big problems I had was when I would touch a number, letter, button it would never go through. I"d have to sit there and like press down so hard for it to finally click through. but again with that new software it really made a huge difference. Occasionally I have to reboot the phone but my DH LOVES his. Hes constantly on it and has had no new issues with his phone. I feel if more time goes on, these phones will be a lot better with less problems. I've also realized the battery life is great, as well as reception!

Re: Blackberry Storm
I have tips (not long or anything) and the screen did not register anything I tried to touch, plus the whole screen actually pushes in/clicks when you touch it....so annoying!! My aunt got it in place of the Dare and she said shes going back to the Dare.

Re: Blackberry Storm
OMG I was just going to ask this. I bought the Curve yesterday because I heard bad reviews about the Storm but now I'm debating returning the Curve and trying the Storm...

Re: Blackberry Storm
same with me. My nails don't register the touch screen. I'm not a fan of the touch screen.

ITA with the previous posters if you have nails it's not good for you. I was thinking about getting it but luckily I was able to use a friend's first and found that it's not female friendly. I have the dare and love it.

Re: Blackberry Storm
We were looking at Blackberrys for me and the guy at Verizon said stay away from the Storm. They're reporting a LOT of problems.
He said if we really wanted it to wait for the second generation to come out, that would be when they'd have all the wrinkles ironed out.
He did highly recommend the Curve, which my brother has and loves it.
