Tell me why I want the Blackberry Storm? UPDATE!
I don't really NEED it, I don't like the sound of an extra $30/month for the service.....
Yet i STILL want it.....and I can get it tomorrow.......for $200!!!!!
UPDATE
So after all the hoopla about this friggin phone, and after the guy said, "oh yeah! they'll be in at 1:00"....and I FINALLY decided to give it a try.....
Guess what?
They aren't even in and they won't be in today at all!!!!!!
Unreal, add it to the list of things I totally hate about verizon.....

My phone is a company phone and the contract is up in two months was told they would upgrade me then.

I want it too, but it would mean spending a lot more per month and switching from a family plan with DH to individual plans, which really isn't worth it. I do reallyyyyyyy want it though!

Are you sure, check with your company. You should be able to keep your family plan but just add the blackberry package to the one phone.

blech looks like DH is getting the Voyager. we already pay an obscene amount for phone service.

If we already had service through the company offering the BB Storm I could do this. But we have Sprint/Nextel cause DH uses it for the firehouse and it makes me nuts. He just renewed the contract for his phone number. I can switch providers, but it doesn't make financial sense. I'm so bummed.

Ah, understandable. The only thing I can tell you is that at some point Sprint should get that phone too. (at least as a Sprint employee, I certainly hope so  )

I want a Blackberry too, even the Curve. but I don't want my bill to double! and in order for me to have access to my work email, it's an additional $45 a month PLUS I would have to upgrade my plan by $30 a month. no thanks

why would it be so much?
mine is only going up $30 now that I have a BB
it's $45 a month to hook up to corporate email (it's only $30 for personal email, I don't know why, but that's what they told me) and the plan I have now would need to be upgraded to include unlimited data, which is another $30 a month

The Storm is sending me over to the BB world. I have one for work and just carry a regular phone as my personal phone. If I get the Storm (I really really want it) ..I will be carrying 2 BB's  My work one is At&T and personal is Verizon...I don't want to switch to At&t.

Internet, email, full keyboard texting..it's great.

I don't know why you want it - it doesn't appeal to me at all. Neither does the iPhone. I'm not a huge fan of the touch screen, though I admit the other things those phones can do are really, really awesome.
