Blackberry Users - do you use Optimum email on it?

Question -- if you have a BB -- can you access email from your optonline personal email account? It shows on the optimum website that you should be able to...and I thought I set it up - but I'm not getting any emails.

I did when I had the original 8300 curve, but it was annoying so I removed it. I don't need to read the emails that go to that acct right away. So I only have my blackberry email on my phone.

I didn't try it on my 8900 curve.

Call your service provider, they should be able to help

Technically yes...

1. You can forward messages to your BB email address.

2. You can set up email however you need to update outlook or web interface to leave messages on the server so BB can retrieve it.

Keep in mind, doing functions on your BB won't update things in outlook or the web as this is not a SMTP setup. This is a POP3 account

For true interaction email coordinated on a server..i would use GMAIL. I email from gmail, i'm able to see it on the web instantly.

DH set up my BB (Curve) and it receives my Optimum mail perfectly fine. I don't have to forward it to another address. If you need step by step instructions I can ask him about it when I get home.

its being weird--it didn't work all nite and suddenly i just got 2 emails. lol but it was when i was signed in on my computer -- so i'm not sure whats up.
