Re: Father's Day INLAWS drama...
I would be upset too. You definitely have a right to do what you want in your own house.
BTW - She won't lose any money for any other baby's daddy unless you bil adopts the children.

Re: Father's Day INLAWS drama...
She has, absolutely, no right to tell you what to do or not to do in your home. You've given her an explanation as to your decision and extended an invitation for the following weekend. If she and the girlfriend/baby's mama/maybe wife decide to get all pissy, that is their problem. Don't let it spoil what you have planned. You haven't done anything wrong here and need not apologize to any one for anything. She needs to tone back the rhetoric and calm down.

Your MIL definitely crossed a line. She has no right to tell you what to do, and you gave them plenty of notice that the plans were changing.

I think your Mil was wrong and you guy's stick your ground... as for your bil baby's mother i think she need's to learn about repect and responsibility... In other words she should let your Brother in law adopt the kids and Get married.I'm sorry you are going through this

Thank you for your responses...
Do you think I should just let this pass, or should I address the issue further?

She should be slapping her son upside the head for what he's doing and keep her nose out of your business. It's your house, your decision. If she doesn't like what you and your dh decided, then she can go scratch.
