bleeding - Update...
Update:
The bleeding continued and so did the cramps. I went to the dr today and I'm measuring 6 weeks but there is no heartbeat. She thinks the pregnancy is passing on its own. She gave me a prescription of Tylenol with codeine in case the cramping gets worse. Thanks for your support ladies!

I'm about 6ish weeks and I'm bleeding bright red. It's a significant amount of blood and I feel crampy.
This happened with both of my other pregnancies but it still has me totally freaked out. I just did a search under my "regular" username and I found posts from week 7 from both of my previous pregnancies where I said I was worried about the exact same symptoms.... Thank goodness for the LIF archives!
I am freaking because I have a conference in the city next week and no one knows I'm pg. I'm afraid to miss a day but I HAVE to get to the dr before I lose my mind
Why does this have to happen during a holiday weekend????

i'm so sorry  hopefully, everything IS fne, just like w/your other pregnancies. call your doctor's office - they should have an option to leave an emergency message that the doctor can get; maybe they can bring you in for a sono or something so you don't have to wait this out during the weekend.
keep us updated and try to hang in there !

I am 6 weeks today and I've been spotting on and off since the day I missed my period. Today I started to bleed too and then it followed by brown blood. Agh I'm so nervous! This is my first one. I called the doctor and he said not to worry it could be normal - I really hope it is. Good Luck!!

I'm sorry you're going through this. I had an episode around 7-8 weeks where I was bleeding what I considered a significant amount of red blood. Definitely beyond spotting. They couldn't find where the blood came from and the baby was fine. I am 21 weeks today and  is doing very well. Hopefully it will be the same for you.
