Bleeding at 7 wks

Hi Everyone! I'm 7 wks pregnant after ivf. Saw fetal heartbeat on friday then started to bleed fairly heavy red blood on saturday. THANKFULLY my RE opened the office and found the baby to be absolutely fine, but blood in other places in uterus away from baby. Today, it's dried up, but I am still so scared. Anyone have this experience and still carry a healthy pregnancy?

I'm also pregnant through IVF. Early in my pregnancy I did have what I think they called a subcontaneus hemotoma (I may have the name wrong) in my uterus, which self absorbed, I never bled from it but the RE did say that there was a chance I could. I did have unexplained bleeding at 12 and 20 weeks, and my little one is just fine, I'm 31 weeks pregnant.

I am 8 weeks now but last Monday (at exactly 7 weeks) I started bleeding too. At first it was bright red and a lot and then it started getting darker and brown.

The doc said everything is fine with the baby, and that my upper something separated from my lower something (I completely forgot what she called it) but to take it easy, and not exercise, try to work less until there is no more blood at all. I'm still spotting nearly a week later but it's so light.

I go in on Thursday for a follow up visit. HTH!!

me too. I started bleeding at 5 1/2 weeks after IVF. Iwas diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma> I have been bleeding/spotting almost everyday since then.. I am almost 15 weeks now. Baby is fine FM me if u need to talk!

I too conceived w/ IVF and had a sub-chorionic hematoma- I was told the body would either re-absorb it or I would bleed it out, which is what happened to me...Its very nerve wracking but apparentl very common with IVF...I am now 35 weeks pg ( on Tues ) and did have another hematoma later on in the pg. but my little one is nice and healthy !
