Bleeding Gums
Jeremy is definitley your most cautious toddler. He has had his share of bumps and bruises. Quite a few to his mouth area. When I brush his teeth lately his gums bleed. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Bleeding Gums
I would take him to a dentist. Maybe he has a gum infection or something.

Re: Bleeding Gums
I just held him down and battled him to do his top teeth again. The bleeding is coming from between his front top two teeth. Ya know that little bumpy thing that is there...

Re: Bleeding Gums
Its called an Incisive Papilla. He may have irritated it. I would bring him for a checkup and have them take a look

Re: Bleeding Gums
Also rather than hold him down try to talk to him about the "characters" that are hiding behind his teeth. Helps me with my kids.

He's 17 months... I don't think reasoning will get me too far
