Blind Dog?

Our Toby has gone blind! Its so sad. Within a few weeks he has pretty much lost his eyesight. He has cushings disease & we think its a symptom of that. Anyway my question is does anyone have a blind dog? What can we do to help him? Its so sad to see him bump into things.

I'm really sorry Lisa! He's definitely going to have some acclimating to do. I'd definitely keep the floors clean of anything he could trip over like toys but leave all the furniture where it is as much as possible. He's going to have to use his spatial sense, whiskers, smell, and hearing to move around now, and he'll need some time to get used to that. I saw this on Cesar Milan a while back and it's possible that their personality might change a little, with their new challenges, but it's important to treat them the same as you always have.
