Bloat/Water Weight- first trimester?
I am now 8 weeks 2 days, my pants are really, really tight. I went to the OB the other day and I wanted to die when I got on the scale.
I know everyone has been saying yo bloat before you get a bump, but does the bloat go away?

You are so NOT alone with this one. My pants began getting tighter around 8 weeks also. I went out & got regular jeans in a bigger size because I refused to wear maternity jeans at 8 weeks! I thought it would go down, but at 11 weeks now, I can honestly say I NEED MATERNITY PANTS ASAP. And this is my 1st baby, so I'm kind of shocked that I'm this "poofy" already. I was so embarassed at 1st, but hey- everyone's different ya know? I kept looking through all the photo albums on here & thinking that my gut looked more like the 14 week bellies instead of 8 weeks. Either way, I'm going out & getting maternity pants this weekend. I can't stand not being able to breathe in clothes.
Oh, and I got the bella band......Ummm, not a fan. I felt like it was digging into my hips. I know the puffiness isn't because of the size of the baby yet, but for whatever reason, it's really round. HTH. Good luck!!!!!

I was very bloated my 1st trimester and wore the Bella Band (or the one from Target) with my regular jeans. I stopped wearing the band in February and have been wearing maternity jeans and pants- way more comfortable.

It was really uncomfortable for me. I have wide hips, and it just kept digging in & rolling up. I was hoping I would get used to it, but it just annoyed me! The big joke with me is that I'm not even gonna have to push when it comes to labor because the baby is just going to come right out like it's on a playground slide. (That's the analogy my sister gave me. Nice, right?)
