Blood draw yesterday...Dr. testing for Beta levels??
Hi again...
My Doc took blood yesterday and told me to come back tomorrow morning to see if the beta levels will rise.
Has anyone else done this? What exactly does this mean?

i never had my beta levels drawn for confirmation, i just did a urine sample. Alot draw the blood to confirm pregnancy and also to tell how early you are int he pregnancy.

Yes, they test your beta level and then recheck it in two days. The number should approximately double.

Yes this is right. They do this to make sure the pregnancy is viable and progressing as it should, since it's most likely too early to see anything on an ultrasound.

Yup.....I did this last week and on Tues they were 49 and on Thurs they went up to 149. I go back tomorrow just to make sure all is still good. VERY normal, and nothing to fear.
