bloody noses
Do you get more bloody noses now that you are preggo?
If so, how often do you get them and how bad are they?

They don't generally last TOO long, maybe 15 minutes - 1/2 hour?

My nose bled everyday! Probably once or twice a week i would get a gusher. They immediately disappeared as soon as I gave birth

Same here. Nose bled pretty much every day. I am glad it's over now.

My nose is very dry, so every time I blow my nose, it starts bleeding. It's horrible!

that is exactly what happens to me also -
Its not that I really get full blown nosebleeds, but every morning and sometimes during the day, I blow my nose and ugh, there is goes 
I'm constantly congested too, which isn't fun either!

Did anyone ask their doctor what causes this/why? I was gonna ask on my next appt on Thursday.
BTW, I didn't experience this with my 1st pregnancy,just this one.

BTW, I didn't experience this with my 1st pregnancy,just this one.
I asked my dr, he told me because of your increased blood flow while pg, and hormones make your mucuous membranes more sensitive. put the two together you have nose bleeds and congestion.
What helped me what a cool mist humidifier, it lessened the bleeds, and bleeding time. Before the humidifier I was getting a big nosebleed everyday, after it was once or twice a week and I slept better too cause my nose wasn't soo dry.

I did also... Using a humidifier and saline drops helped immensely.

I had blood in my nose every day - it wasnt gushing out or anything like that but when I would blow my nose (which was every day bc my allergies got bad) there was always blood in the tissue (sorry TMI). I had an actual bloody nose where the blood ran out twice and it was only for a minute.
