I want to say yes, i lost my mucus plug yesterday and more this morning and there was no blood just mucus

Stupid question but what does the mucous plug look like? Will it just look like EWCM or is it a different color and texture? I feel like I'm not even going to realize when I lose mine. Lol can you tell that I'm a FTM?

Nope, definitely not the same thing. You can lose your mucus plug (and it can regenerate) or you can have a bloody show or you can have both together. But they are not the same thing.

mine just looked like something that could come out of your nose. This is gross but you can google images

Could be, but for me the bloody show meant blood everywhere, not just a little, and it didn't seem to be mixed with much mucus.
I don't remember losing my mucus plug, although the last few days before I went into labor I did notice I had more discharge, so maybe I lost it gradually, I have no idea if that's possible.

Mine was different. I woke up in the middle of the night in labor w/ bloody show (means cervix was dilating and rupturing small vessels). I also lost a lot of mucous that day too that was probably my mucous plug.

I just got all this paperwork from my OB about how they are different, and explaining both. In my first pregnancy, I had a bloody show, but didn't lose my mucus plug then.
