Blue & White Nursery for a GIRL?
I am having the hardest time finding bedding I like. I thought I came to a decision - French Rose bedding from Pottery Barn - and then I got the catalog today and saw the same bedding in blue and white. I love it! However, is it weird/hard to do blue and white for a girl? Has anyone done this or plan on doing it? What do you think?
Here's a pic of the bedding in pink and white.

Re: Blue & White Nursery for a GIRL?
I just moved my DD into a "big girl" room since we're using the nursery for this baby. I painted the walls light blue and have a green rug; the furniture is all white. The "decor" colors are primary--ladybug type theme.
Go for it!! Love the blue!

I don't think it's weird at all. I was going to do a blue nursery whether I had a boy or a girl.

Re: Blue & White Nursery for a GIRL?
My little nursery is pale blue with white trim and we chose bedding with light green accents. It's very pretty. I love it. We had painted it a pale blue for my first pregnancy - it was a color we chose for boy or girl. We ended up having a boy first, and I still kept if the same color for my girl I love it!

Re: Blue & White Nursery for a GIRL?
Thanks for your input! Still not sure what I'm going to do ... I'm afraid it's going to be hard to find cute girl accessories to go with the set, and I do like the pink, too.
Decisions, decisions ...

Re: Blue & White Nursery for a GIRL?
I love blue & white for a girl, I think it would be beautiful. As someone else mentioned, Carter's has a collection out right now of blue & white summer clothes, and they are adorable. I'm definitely drawn to blue & white clothes for I think. But then again, I didn't want wall-to-wall pink in my nursery, we left our sage green walls and are doing pink accents, because pink really isn't a favorite color of mine.
Do what you're drawn to!

Re: Blue & White Nursery for a GIRL?
IMO that is the prettiest set i have seen!! i was SET on doing that bedding in blue and white for sure-the only thing that held me back was that my own bedroom looks like that all in blue ad white! so i went with another set in another color. i say definitely-i LOVE blue and white in a girls room! it's going to be gorgeous!

Re: Blue & White Nursery for a GIRL?
I love that bedding and would definitely do it in blue for a girl. After having two DS's I feel a little less into pink than I used to be.
Go for it!

Re: Blue & White Nursery for a GIRL?
I think blue is fine! I was thinking of painting my nursery a lt. blue because I think blue can go either way, just depending on how you decorate. I could use yellow/blue/white toile for a girl or more blues and reds for a boy.

Re: Blue & White Nursery for a GIRL?
I love blue and white floral for a girl, very French country-esque.
