blue and tan paint color recs?

We have a high ranch and with the layout, the rooms kind of blend into one another upstairs... right now we have our foyer/hallway a pale green and the living room & dining rooms are the same: dark green on the bottom and beige up top with a chair rail in the middle. We want to paint and switch it up. Im thinking blue: not dark like navy but not pale either. Im thinking a dark dusty type of blue (looking at maybe bm mineral alloy or little falls) in the hall and a pale tan/beige/taupe type of color for the LR/DR (im going to take the chair rail down). Any recs for these 2 types of colors that would compliment each other nicely?

Loved my old color blue...BM Polaris blue and it goes perfectly with Lenox Tan (darker on swatch) or shaker Beige (lighter color on swatch). This was my old color palette, b/c I liked a flow between rooms.

I would say it's a little darker than this in person, IMO.

I love love love BM Adagio for the blue color. It's a bluish gray and it's gorgeous.

For a tan/beige, I have a few that I love:

Valspar Light Raffia
BM Sailcloth
Coconut Milk (its either Valspar or Olympic...cant remember which)

I just put 2 pictures in my album of the blue I have in my basement. It BM littlefalls. There is also a beige next to it which is in my hallyway and living room called BM Musilin. I love both colors and get lots of compliments. HTH!

BM Shaker Beige is my fave and we have BM Nantucket Fog in our bedroom. They are both nice colors that flow well together.

I love BM Adagio - I am going to repaint a room in my basement this color ASAP.

I did my DS's room below the chair rail in Manchester Tan and I love it.

it may be a little darker than what you're looiking for but we used van cortland blue in our den (it's lighter than it looks in online pics). we used lenox tan in our living room and manchester tan in our kitchen/hallway.
