boarding a dog?
We have a 17 week old puppy. We are planning to go to CT for a weekend in December, so I want to start looking for a place to board our puppy now. Does anyone have any suggestions and ball park prices? We live in the Massapequa area. We saw one place that was $25 a night, which I thought was a great price but I didn't love the place. I am already nervous about leaving him, but I know I cant bring him with us. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Re: boarding a dog?
$25/nt is average...where I live it's $27/nt. You can ask to go see the kennel beforehand, meet the staff, see where they sleep / play etc if it makes you feel better!

Re: boarding a dog?
I need a place to keep Tiny for 2 days. Our pet sitter wont be able to take him. Does anyone know of a good pet sitter? I dont want to bring him to a kennel because then he will be in a cage all day and that is not fair to him. Thanks, Scott
