I hope she really isn't his mother cause that was disgusting. I am sad that they killed off his wife and the way they did it that she was with the woman that she had the relationship with a few seasons ago was odd because I thought she went to Paris without her....and they haven't showed her or anything....but im assuming something will be coming up in upcoming episodes.
I can believe the Federal agent is on the Lam....The look on his face was priceless when he saw the reverend at the Post office

I wish I could unsee that scene, I wanted to vomit! So disturbing...and when she was carrying his son (her grandson) to sleep, I wanted to grab that boy out of her hands, not that I think she'd do anything (yet who knows I guess) but she's just so messed and manipulative on so many levels, she can't poison another child's mind. Ugh....

Not the same woman - the woman who Angela was with when she died she had just met recently at the beach - the one who was showing too much knee. She took her to a bohemian sort of party where they kissed.

Unfortunately, I do think Gillian is Jimmy's mom. She was abused herself from a very young age. Not shocking that her morals are completely f'ed up!
What an episode though! The Commodore killed by his son (so very Oedipus Rex) and Van Alden finally caught for murdering his partner. Can't wait for next week!!!

love this show! It is so twisted but probably the best show in TV. I love Jimmy and I hope gets justice on Gillian for what she has done.

I hope you all are right but I think she is the mother and they're only accurately portraying how sick and twisted her character is. She did have years of abuse so she's not exactly playing with a full deck. Too bad Jerry Springer wasn't around during prohibition

Watched it last night. DH goes "yeah she really f-ed him up in the head." I responded with "well she didn't want to be crazy by herself." Ew and at the end when she carried his son upstairs and was like "and I'll be upstairs" almost like she was saying OK, we can have our family now.

I think that was weird, but not sexual. He was undressing her because he always has to take care of her. So, it's not dirty, but it is innappropriate because she is his mother & he has adoptted the parentign role.
What I didn't get though was when they started kissing. She clearly starts it, but it wasn't clear to me if he was trying to stop her.
