Last night's show was great! Lots of high energy numbers...they had a good while where they played some obscurities from the These Days album (which I loved) and they played Dry County for the encore which I'm sure has many scratching their heads. But I think the song selection was mostly great. I just didn't get Never Say Goodbye.
I've been to so many shows...I can't say this one stands out at all but it was still fun. I think I might just be Jovi'd out of something. I get really excited to hear the obscurities, and I know most of the crowd does not. I was happy they played a ton from the Keep the Faith, Slippery When Wet and New Jersey albums. I'm one of the few people that would be more than happy to never hear It's My Life again.

I went last nite - we all said the same thing - too many new slow songs. and I don't think the new meadowlands is structurally sound - the upper deck was ROCKING. much worse than any other stadium i have been to.

I went last nite - we all said the same thing - too many new slow songs. and I don't think the new meadowlands is structurally sound - the upper deck was ROCKING. much worse than any other stadium i have been to.
They're definitely catering some of the setlist to the diehard fans. Great for them, lousy for 70% of the stadium.
We had good seats and OUCH the sound was crazy loud. Didn't notice anything about the structure. We were in the seats connected to a suite...leather seats...nice bathrooms. But serious lack of legroom for what will be crazy expensive seats for a football game!

and i don't mind when they mix in the less "popular" songs - but they played 3 or 4 slower ones in a row, it seemed to me like they needed a rest. They're getting old
eta: i looked at the set list from the first nite - so much better imo - encore of "wanted dead or alive" "always" and "livin on a prayer" - nothing is better than that!

I saw them on Thursday night and I thought it was the worst Bon Jovi concert I have ever been to. (And I have been to a LOT of their concerts!) It was good, but their songlist was lacking in enthusiasm. In fact, they all lacked enthusiasm. I sat often. I don't think I have ever sat at one of their concerts. I was real disappointed. 
I also talked with other family and friends that went Thursday and they said the same thing. I hope their Saturday concert is better for all of you going!
I just looked at his setlist from Thrus. and He sang alot of slow songs back to back. He NEVER does that. weird. So i agree not his best. I was there wednesday and it was electric. and im going again tonight. It better be rocking. LOL

I just FM"D you the setlist from thrusday and the link where you will be able to see his setlist for everynight of the Circle Tour.
Saturdays show was awesome. He played alot of different songs from the Wednesday night show. But i gotta admit, i liked Wednesday's show the best. I think since it was opening night the energy of the place was just off the charts.
