Bonefish RVC
Open in Rockville Centre: Bonefish Grill 10:04 AM By Joan Reminick
The Florida-based chain Bonefish Grill has spawned its first Long Island location in Rockville Centre. The capacious restaurant, built from the ground up, stands where a long-closed movie theater was on Sunrise Highway. Inside, you'll find an open kitchen as well as a bar area with a communal table.
On the seafood-focused menu: Bang bang shrimp flatbread ($9.40), ahi tuna sashimi ($11.30), Baja fish tacos ($13.10), a shrimp pad Thai bowl ($12.90), wood-grilled ahi tuna steak ($17.70), and a sirloin and crabcake dinner ($20.90). For dessert: Key lime pie ($6.90), crème brûlée ($7.30) and Jamaican coconut pie ($7.30)
The restaurant is open for dinner only on weekdays. There's lunch on Saturday and Sunday brunch, when you can get such dishes as crème brûlée French toast ($10.50) and surf and turf eggs Benedict ($13.50).
You call for reservations or make them online at bonefishgrill.com/rockvillecentre.
Bonefish Grill is at 340 Sunrise Hwy., Rockville Centre, 516-766-1238, bonefishgrill.com

Prices seem a little high, not sure if it's better to spend the money in a restaurant, not a chain. I am hestitant to go since parking is going to be a hassle. I heard that they aren't open for lunch since they don't have handicap parking available.

Re: Bonefish RVC
Honestly those prices don't seem high at all compared to a "real" restaurant

I agree... Those are average chain prices. For those dishes, you'd have add a bit more $$ for a "real" restaurant.

Re: Bonefish RVC
My mom went to Bonefish in Florida and said it the food was better quality that your typical chain restaurant. I'm curious to see if this one is as good, I don't think their prices are too bad.

Re: Bonefish RVC
I love Bonefish. They opened one by us about 3 months ago and we tried it and it's now one of our fav places to go. It's much nicer than your typical chain restaurant and the food is consistently great.

Re: Bonefish RVC
Bonefish is delicious, and I think the prices are reasonable for a seafood restaurant.
