Book to read to kindergarten
Looking for a cute book to read to my son's kindergarten class and also an activity or craft we can do afterward or maybe a dessert (that I can buy) to give out that relates to the book somehow. Any suggestions?

Ahh!
I like the Froggy series of books! They are cute! Maybe do a frog themed craft from Oriental.
I do like the Mouse/cookie suggestion. You could get cookies and they could frost them and decorate them so it's a snacktivity ;)

Re: Book to read to kindergarten
Last year for DS's class I read "A fish out of Water" The kids loved it. Maybe that and Swedish fish? I also did "Don't let the Pigeon Ride the Bus" and the kids would yell "NO!" to the Pigeon. Not really sure what craft to do with that. Maybe make a school bus with them.

Re: Book to read to kindergarten
Pick any book that is interesting to your son (it's "his" day). I tried to pick one that was rare so the kids were hearing something new. I give out pencils. You can get themed ones. Our school no longer allows food for birthdays or giving out.
