Books - as decor - but a question
As we are looking for homes, I am also trying to get rid of stuff where I am now in order to make it easy for when we move.
I have a TON of books. I am an avid reader but I also like them for decor purposes, as well - I love a beautifully stocked bookcase.
However, I have so many.
Do you ever donate them? Or should I just keep them?

Re: Books - as decor - but a question
I love books too! we have two beautiful bookcases that are full to the brim in our guestroom, we tried to limit it to that.
I would not get rid of them yet, wait until you buy a house, you never know you could find a house that has built-ins or even find a place that you could build a built in bookcase.
If not many local libraries/university libraries will take donations and give you a slip for your taxes

I would def. donate after you move and you see the space you have in your new home. But if you are ready to let go of them now, then try to donate them. GL!
