BOOO I know it's better for him but I HATE Luce's new sleep schedule
I HATE seeing this while we eat dinner. 
but, he only woke up twice last night. miracles are happening in my home I tell you. MIRACLES.
except, I do kinda miss him crying for me too. God, the vanity!

It really will get better. He will get older and be able to stay up later and eat with you again  And then you will win the lotto and be able to stay at home and feed him all day long

Aww I know how you feel... what's his new sleep schedule?
The last couple days Sienna refuses to nap, falls asleep in the car at 5:30p on the way home and doesn't want to wake up. Sleeps through til 7am when we wake her. No dinner, no playtime with us.

Plus, we're changing the clocks this weekend. If he's tired at 7:00pm today, next week the clock will read 8:00pm! Eventually he'll adjust to the new schedule, but it may work to your advantage at first.

I know, I can't wait until we can all eat dinner as a family. With our schedule she eats almost as soon as we get home, then it's bathtime, then bed and we eat dinner after that.
I am torn though. I know she will need to be older for it to happen but I don't want to rush the way things are now. I want her to stay little forever!

You just reminded me of when Elizabeth was a baby... I missed her 4am feeding when it was gone. That was 'our time'...
But now it's my time, my sleep time, which makes me an overall nicer, happier person and mommy.

you should have seen my face while taking it. dinner didn't even taste good.  I know it's dramatic but what can I do.
even my MIL, according to dh, said she misses him at the table. and he is with her all day (to which I told him that she is not allowed to miss him BC she has him all day )
Jess his new schedule starts our bedtime routine at 6 and the goal is to get him to be asleep by 7. so now when I get home from work it's just Luce time. I dont' cook until after he's asleep, and my MIL feeds him dinner around 5:30.
we are eating around 8 now. while he's in slumberland.
I MISS HIM.

Ok, just to point out the positive.. now you have dedicated Luce time right. no distratctions..insteadof trying to do dinner and clean up while he's awake.. right????

soon enough he'll be fighting you to go to sleep at all but I know how you feel Chels used to sleep with us for a little bit and I just turned to DH the other night and said I missed her legs in my face he wasn't as nostalgic
