Booster seats in car...is it supposed to slide around?
We just switched DD to a booster seat and the seatbelt falls over one side, but the booster still slides around. Is it supposed to be more secure?

Re: Booster seats in car...is it supposed to slide around?
Ours doesn't slide around at all. The seat is kind of contoured and so the booster fits within those contours and holds it in place. I have upholstered seats. I don't know if leather would make it slide around more? Which do you have?
Come to think of it, my sister has leather interior and we often do day trips together and I've never noticed my DD's booster sliding in her car's seats.

if your DD weighs enough it should not be sliding around.
and is this a high back or a no back booster? the seat belt would fall off her shoulder if she is not tall enough

It doesn't slide around when DD is in it (she is over 40 lbs)...it's just kind of loose on the seat when she's not in it....it's just different from how secure the carseats were. The booster is backless and is on a leather seat.

Re: Booster seats in car...is it supposed to slide around?
Most boosters do this. The solution is that you belt in the booster when not in use. Otherwise, it can become a projectile in a crash. There are some boosters that are latchable for this reason.
