Boots for big calves
I've never been able to find boots because my calves are big. I've lost about 30 pounds and still can't find any. I love the way everyone looks in boots. Any suggestions?

every now and then, dsw carries boots that have a "wide calf" fitting. i actually just got a pair of knee high wide calf boots there for $65!

naturalizer, aerosoles, j crew and a ton of other companies all make wide shaft boots!

Yes, I bought a pair there too. I have also found some at Avenue, Lane Bryant and strangely enough, LL Bean had great ones.

I have these ones from Target and there is AMPLE room in the calves. They are so cute, come in a few colors and the price is right $29.99

Naturalizer but a lot are expensive and it's not alwasy leather. I also feel they are wider but not that wide either. KWIM. They do have an outlet in Deer Park and they had about 2-3 pair of wide calf boots.
Zappos.com (do a search on "wide calf"). I love zappos. You don't pay for shipping and for returns so if it does not fit, it's free to ship back. 365 days to return.

zappos or naturalizer....I have 2 prs from naturalizer that I got on sale for under $100 (they r having an extra 20% off boots now) and have plenty of room..I have large calves and can never find boots to fit me until now. I love them.

Those are cute for $30! Are they comfy? I want to get some new boots but dont want to invest too much because I tend to scuff them up a lot. I have nice black leather boots but they are more dressy.

I found they had a biger selection than Zappos, but you have to be careful & measure your calves b/c beople define "wide" differently.
I have a pair of David Tate boots from Zappos that fit great, but I just orderd a pair of Naturalizers that I had to send back b/c they wouldn't zip.

Ecco makes adjustible calf boots. I have bought them for the reverse, skinny calves that swim in most boots. So these work great. They have little belt buckles that you can make them wider or skinner.eta-zappos has them
