Borderline hcg levels and progestrone levels at 3 1/2 weeks

Hey ladies, I am a bit worried..After having a m/c at 16 weeks (about 11 weeks ago), I just found out i am 3 1/2 weeks pg. I went o the dr on tues and had a hcg level of 300 and on thurs it only went up to 500..My progestrone levels were 11..The dr said my levels are not perfect, and if it continues to remain the same or decrease i could possible m/c again.She put me on progestrone suppositories..I am supposed to insert it once a night..I am so nervous...Anyone in the same boat as me???Do u think it will help bring my levels back up?

I wouldnt worry just yet, Those sound like good HCG levels for being so early on. Unfortuntely it's out of our hands and you can only pray it will stick this time. But remember that just because you miscarried doesnt mean you will again. A large percentage, I think 85% of women who miscarry go on to have healthy pregnancies. I know it's hard not to worry but try to be positive. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Im just a bit confused,than why did the dr tell me they are just borderline???..I got a bit nervous..I just pray the suppositories work..

I'm guessing, and this is just a guess that the dr. might have said it's borderline bc they like to see HCG double every 2-3 days and yours didn't quite double. Have faith

I think they like to see progesterone over 15, so that may be why your doctor said your levels were a little off. The suppositories should help to bring the level up. I was on them until about 12.5 weeks.

so i began taking the suppositories 2 nights ago..is it common to have Discharge? I feel "wet" all the time.I go back to the dr's tomorrow for another blood test..wish me luck..:)

Good luck today at the doctor! My doctor doesn't do level checks and stuff like that for that reason...it just freaks you out! Every woman is differnet and has different levels ...and alot of women have low levels to start and go on to a healthy pregnancy...but hopefully you get good news today!

Im back and the waiting is going to kill me..Should I be worried that they wanted me to come in for beta test???.I am one big mess today..:(

Hey..went for the beta test yesterday...My hcg levels went up to 2000 as of yesterday.(I am 4 weeks today) the dr said I am improving nicely., and he is happy with my numbers .Im so happy..I go back tomorrow for a check up and to test my progestrone level...

so i just got another phone call from my dr..my progestrone levels went down to a 7..i was a 9 a week ago..Im so worrie..the suppositories are not working..he told me to take them twice a day...Now im back to being a mess.anyone had the same situation???

Do you know how many mg of progesterone you are on? In the beginning, I was taking 100mg twice a day. What than didn't seem to be helping, they put me on 400mg twice a day. Even with the progesterone though, the highest my blood work ever was, was 6.5. I did some research and found some articles that said that when progesterone is absorbed locally (as in a suppository) it doesn't really enter your bloodstream as much. No idea whether that's true or not, but even though I never had good progesterone numbers, this pregnancy "stuck."

Here's one...I know there are others, just can't find them at the moment...

Thank u jersey chick..I am on 200 mg a day..But now i have to insert it twice..sometimes I feel like it drips out right when i get up....Dr told me to try to lay down for 10 min after inserting it..But the problem is I constantly have to run to the bathroom every 20 min..wow your story really gave me some hope..But its not a good sign when it goes down..:( I have another blood test on mon..pray for me girls
