Borrowing a friend's breast pump - what do I need?
My friend has a Medela Pump in Style Advanced. She only used it about a month (her baby was born in May).
As far as replacement and accessory parts, what exactly do I need?
TIA!

Re: Borrowing a friend's breast pump - what do I need?
I have a very wonderful friend that lent me her pump so I had one at home and one at work...no back-and-forth and I needed to get parts...
Think of it as basically just using the motor - you will need everything else: Tubes (I bought them on ebay from a reputable seller) Bottles Shields & the pieces that connect them Valves Membranes
If she gives you the ice pack and little cooler you can definitely use those.

I borrowed from my SIL and never got around to getting the tubing/replacement pieces but had to pump at the hospital and they gave me a complete sterilel kit - I've been using that - maybe you can get one through your hospital.
