Re: Bottle question
With my past 2 boys I took the bottle a way when we switched to milk (1yrs old). I do it cold turkey and luckily I haven't had a problem, I also plan to do the same think with my 8mo old when he's 1.

Re: Bottle question
Tried at 12 months, 13 months, then #2 was born at 14 months, and it just got worse from there.
DD is 18 months old and I am still trying to get rid of that damn thing..She only usually has it once in the am and once before bed. But when her teeth hurt-molars/incisors, she'll ask for it more. I give in only because when those teeth hurt, milk is the only thing she'll eat/drink.
Hopefully by the time she's in school it'll be gone

Re: Bottle question
Well Hailey is 15 months and she still has 2 bottles, one when she first wakes up and 1 an hour before bed and then sippy cup all day. Both my mom and mil said "in their day" kids stayed on a bottle until 2-2 1/2 yrs old. I am going to the doc friday so he said we would talk about it then. I guess I am a late one.

Re: Bottle question
They still get it at night b/c when I tried the sippy cup it caused too much gas and they were up screaming. I might try it again after their 1st bday with a different type of cup.
