bouncer and swing

Do I really need to get a bouncer AND a swing? The seats look so similar. If I only get the swing, will I miss the bouncer?

Re: bouncer and swing

I used both. I would put him in the bouncer in the bathroom while I took a shower, or if I needed to do something in the kitchen (I like that it was portable). The swing is great to relax him for a nap.

Re: bouncer and swing

I used the bouncer more than the swing, but they were both helpful. When he was too big for both of them...I sold them on e-bay.Chat Icon

Re: bouncer and swing

I had both, but my son hated the boucer. I ended up taking it back. Each child is different, though.

Re: bouncer and swing

At what age did your babies start using these? My son is 3 1/2 weeks and so far he doesn't seem crazy about either one.

I agree, I did the same, plus the bouncer seat was great for early solid feeding, before the high chair and to bring to grandma's house.

Re: bouncer and swing

I have and use both. I got a bouncer that she sits up in, and the papasan swing that she lays down in more.
