Bouncer question....
we received the rainforest bouncer and the boppy bouncer at the shower, but end up returning the boppy bouncer (it was a tough decision). Now I am having second thought...
Do I need another bouncer, swing or soothing center thingie if we already have the Rainforest bouncer? I often read that newborns nap in their bouncers, which I can see in the boppy one, but the rainforest one looks more for play than comfort?

Re: Bouncer question....
I used both the bouncer and the swing with DD.. she napped in both, but at different times different things soothed her. There were times when the bouncer didnt do it for her, but the swing did.. and vice verse. The swing was also great that we had b/c it swung either side to side or front to back.

Re: Bouncer question....
DS loves the Rainforest bouncer. He falls asleep in it sometimes. I like it b/c I can bring it into the bathroom with me and keep an eye on DS while I shower (he won't go down in the bassinet). DS also really likes the swing. I'd get both b/c sometimes DS prefers one over the other.

this is good to know! Just by looking at it, the boppy one looked much more cozy, so it got me worried that I returned the wrong bouncer! The rainforest one does have raving reviews

Re: Bouncer question....
I had the boppy one and DS didnt seem comfortable in it until he was bigger... 5 or 6 months old. He fell asleep in it sometimes, but as a newborn his head always looked slumped, even tho the thing looks so cozy. Your probably better off w/the rainforest one!!!

Re: Bouncer question....
We had the rainforest bouncer with DD and she LOVED it! She slept in it and played in it. I think the lights and the sounds were great. I don't think you need two unless you want say one on each floor and don't want to carry it up and down (but this is TOTALLY NOT necessary).
