Bowling birthday party for 4 year old
Just curious, do you think 4 years old is too young to have a birthday party in a bowling alley. I was thinking about having my dd's 4th bday party at Bowlmor / Strike (I think it's in New Hyde park)
Just wondering if any other mothers have done it this early and if so which bowling alley did you choose.
thank you,

Re: Bowling birthday party for 4 year old
We had my DS 2nd birthday at a bowling alley and the kids, all around 2...LOVED it. So no, I dont think 4 is too young.
Also check, most alleys have ramps the kids can use to roll the ball down if they still cant push it or lift it.
It was a blast and so easy!

4 is not to young! My nephew had his 3rd & 5th bday parties @ the bowling alley! The kids LOVED it!

Not at all...
But IIRC, Strike is the one with the go karts and stuff? I think that might be a little mature for a kid's bday party (and maybe ) but more of a "regular" bowling alley would probably be perfect

Re: Bowling birthday party for 4 year old
thank you for the responses. I didn't think 4 was too young but my dh was disagreeing with me.
I thought the glow in the dark bowling at Strike would be a cool thing, that's why I was considering having the party there. I would like to know if there are any other nice bowling alley's in LI though.
thanks again

I liked this place a lot. Plus they had the little ramps that they could put the balls down
I have to admit it was nerve wracking seeing a 3-4 year old carry a bowling ball. I was worried about them dropping it.
