Boy have things changed since we were kids..
Nice shiny metal walker.....How hot did that thing get out in the blazing sun???
All we needed was some metal and vinyl and we were good...

This was on the playground at my nursery school. (I went to Hillcroft in Huntington Bay..Anyone?)
It was so much fun even with it's lead paint and searing metal...never mind that it was on concrete...

When I was a kid, I remember pulling my skirt down to make sure I did not burn my legs on the metal slides. There were no plastic slides at the time.

Not to mention the SCREEEECCCHHHhhhhh bare legs would make going down the metal slide, at a snail's pace, as you got the worst friction burn imaginable

I found one of those seats in my attic when I moved in. I thought it was a toy. My brother was like um no you had one like that.
And i totally remember the burn of the slides OUCH!
