I'm a clean/germ freak and I've tried just about every place from NYC to Smithtown.
I started going to Sonia's Wax Plus in Roslyn and I LOVE them! They're right off the LIE so it's not a terrible ride (I'm from your area too) -

They're super clean, they don't double-tip and they're not terribly expensive. Plus start-to-finish is only about 10 minutes.
