Breakfast ideas for a 10-month old
I think my 10 month old DS is getting tired of his breakfasts which consist of pureed/mashed fruit and cereal.
What does your 10-month old eat for breakfast? Any ideas for some variety? I make all his food.
He has only bottom 2 teeth but doesn't seen to be bothered by texture (and mommy is trying to be better about giving him chunkier food)
Thanks!

We started French toast at that time. Has he had eggs yet? That opens a whole new world of food
Sydnie's breakfasts can be... French toast oatmeal Gerber cereal a waffle and a yogurt Pancakes Scrambed eggs and a piece of toast

what about trying some cheerios?? give them to him one at a time. At almost 17 months sometimes I give DD just cheerios and fruit for breakfast.
You could also try pancakes or french toast - just cut the pieces small.

DD just recently tried scrambled eggs and LOVES them. They are nice and soft, I wish I gave them to her sooner! She also likes cut up banana and other fruit, but at almost 1 year still likes her oatmeal too.

srambled or soft boiled eggs yogurt french toast pancakes
I make the french toast out of whole wheat or whole grain sliced bread. I serve this with diced fruit as his "syrup"
I make the pancakes from scratch using whole wheat flour.
I usually make a big breakfast on the weekends, so I make extra and freeze the left overs.
this morning he had a scrambled egg with some avocado.
yesterday he had greek yogurt and some banana.

My ped. tells us wait until 1 year b/c of food allergies. he'll be 11 mo. this week so I guess I could give it a try. He eats stuff cooked with eggs in it so i guess there is no difference

I remember slicing a banana and then each slice in half and coating the pieces in crushed cheerios. That plus I was still BFing was a total balanced meal.

if he seems ok with other things with egg, I'd give him a bite and see. just have the benadryl handy I guess, though I really didn't give it much of a second thought that I remember.

Re: Breakfast ideas for a 10-month old
i tried giving ds scrambled eggs. the first time he had them along with pancakes and got red marks/rash all over his face.
i wasnt sure if it was the pancakes or eggs and tried eggs again and same rash/redness happened.
