breakfast ideas for a two year old
DS eats oatmeal, waffles, cold cereal, and other stuff like that...
I need something to be able to give him when we don't have enough time in the AM...
like a cereal bar ( is that bad to give him ) ?

Re: breakfast ideas for a two year old
I am the queen of not enough time in the mornings.
yogurt & a banana
cereal bar - i pick the one with the least sugar to appease my guilt
pancakes - DH makes them on the weekend, we freeze them & pop them in. This isn't good if you're in a severe time crunch because the syrup factor.
cinnamon toast & a cut up apple
mini muffins - you can make them or buy them
corn toasties

I don't think so. DS has been eating the EB cereal bars since he was about 10 months old.
He has had the nutragrain ones too, but they are messier (but I don't know if an EB one would be big enough for your DS)

Re: breakfast ideas for a two year old
my son is not a big (or good) breakfast eater...for a couple of weeks, all he would eat were the cereal bars...I had a little guilt, but got over it because at least he was eating. Now he is onto granola bars--he'll eat half---I tried the one with less sugar, but I found those "rough", they were too hard to chew.
