BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER: What are you eating?

I was never really a breakfast person, but I don't want to skip on any meals.

I've been having cereal, milk and juice. Is that enough?

I want to make sure I'm eating healthy and eating enough food.

What do you have (and if you can tell me the amount too)?

Thanks,

Re: BREAKFAST: What are you eating?

My meals have not really changed
cereal & a fruit
Egg whites
Protein Shake

Lunch
Soup
Hummus
Egg whites
Egg salad
Veggie Sushi
PB&J
Salad
Low fat Cheese Wheat-Quesadilla

Snacks:
String Cheese
Yogurt
Fruit
Popcorn, Pretzels, baked chips

Dinner:
Balance of protein, veggies, and sometimes a grain side (brown rice, wheat pasta)

I think your body will tell your if you are eating too little. I am definitely more hungry now..I usually have to eat something about every 2 hours.

Re: BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER: What are you eating?

I try and have a piece of toast before I leave the office with juice every morning. Then when i get to work usually about 2 hours later I have a bowl of cereal.
Lunch is my worst meal, i try and have fresh turkey on a sandwich or a salad, or even pizza...my choices are limited.
Dinner is when I try and get all my veggies in usually with a piece of meat or chicken.

Re: BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER: What are you eating?

Mon-Fri my days are basically exactly the same:

Arrival at work (8:30am): cup of tea + granola bar
~10:30am: apple, peach or grapes
~12:15pm: pb&j on a marty roll
Anywhere from 1:30-3:30 (depending on when I'm hungry): string cheese

Sometimes I have another snack in the afternoon if I get hungry.

Then I have a normal dinner, though my portions are generally smaller b/c I eat often but only a little at a time. Last night we had salmon, rice and peas, the night before was spaghetti & meatballs, tomorrow night is roast beef, mashed potatoes and corn... Just regular stuff.

Then I usually have a glass of calcium fortified orange juice to take my pill with at night and if I didn't have a bad snack during the day, 2-3 cookies if I want them.

Re: BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER: What are you eating?

breakfast is usually a bagel and cc or butter or a roll with butter

lunch i will have a turkey and swiss sandwich with cholocate pudding.

dinner is whatever dh makes. tacos or chicken cutlets, macaroni or sausage.

i tend to snack during the day too. when i'm hungry, i eat. b/c i know i need to and b/c why starve myself.

i don't eat turkey for lunch everyday. i switch it up.

Re: BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER: What are you eating?

Breakfast
Typically and egg sandwich or a bagel

Lunch
Either a sandwich, salad or pizza or even a hot meal. I try to have a bigger meal for lunch and somethig little like cereal or leftovers for dinner.

Now we have no kitchen so dinner is interesting.

Snacks include granola bars, apples, bananas, chips.
