Eating the placenta???????

I just read a post on another board about EATING your placenta after you give birth.

I am so glad i'm over my morning sickness cause that is about the absolute most disgusting thing ever!!! I know animals sometimes do this...

but c'mon, dogs also eat their own poop!! lol.

You can also plant it under a tree, loads of people do it here. Its kind of a hippy thing, it celebrates life. I think that most animals eat the placenta its chockablock with iron and stuff

I saw that on real sex quite a few years ago. If I remember correctly the couple cooked it up and served it to their friends.

I, for one, have NO interest in this.

Here's part of the recipe to cook your placenta:

For this recipe, you will need a 40 oz. bottle of vodka or some other non-smelling, non-colored drinkable alcohol.

Yeah NO KIDDING you need 40oz of vodka!!!! GROSS!!! I'd have to drink all the vodka just to get near the placenta. We need a puke icon. Chat Icon

Chat Icon I know a woman who gave birth to all of her children at home and buried the placentas in the back yard! I guess it's good fertilizer.
